Die MICAN FILM GmbH wurde 1995 von Katja und Ernst Mican als Werbefilmproduktion gegründet. Vielfach ausgezeichnet und erfolgreich am Markt präsent, produziert Micanfilm seitdem nationale und internationale Werbespots und Imagefilme. Seit 2009 engagiert sich die Micanfilm auch zunehmend für die Herstellung von internationalen Kino- und Fernsehfilmen. Diese Ambition und Leidenschaft führen schliesslich 2012 zur Gründung der "2nd District" Filmproduktion GmbH.

MICANFILM was founded in 1995 by Katja and Ernst Mican. Since then, micanfilm mainly produces commercial spots for television and cinema within the European Market. Many national and international projects were realized and awarded several times. In the year 2009 we discovered our dedication for producing international feature films for cinema and television. Three years later, this ambition and passion leads finally to the foundation of the "2nd District" feature film production.
